The upcoming OnePlus is set to debut in December, and leaked specs are shedding light on what to expect, including a new chip and some surprising details about the telephoto camera.

According to @OnLeaks, the OnePlus 12 is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s next Snapdragon chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This chip is expected to offer significant improvements, although Qualcomm will announce official details in October.

Other reported specifications include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a minimum of 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The device is said to run on Android 14, retain an in-display fingerprint scanner, and feature the brand’s signature Alert Slider. One area of potential improvement is the battery, with the smartphone rumored to have a larger 5,400mAh capacity compared to the OnePlus 11’s 5,000mAh.
