- Oppo confirms Android 14 update for 11 phones in Europe.
- Find X6 Pro among upper-tier devices to receive updates.
- Release timeline: high-end devices by Dec 2023, others in early 2024.
Oppo, the Chinese smartphone maker, has faced significant challenges in recent months, especially in Europe. It has already stopped its operations in Germany, and there are reports that it may do the same in France. However, there is some positive news for Oppo phone owners in Europe. The Oppo Benelux division, covering Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, has seemingly confirmed that 11 of its mid-tier and high-end phones will receive the Android 14 update.
This information was shared exclusively with the Dutch publication DroidApp by a representative from Oppo Benelux. While these 11 smartphones are available in some form across Europe, Oppo is also expected to roll out Android 14 for its upper-tier handsets, including the China-exclusive Find X6 Pro.

Oppo already offers Android 14 Beta 1 for eligible devices through its developer website, although currently limited to the Find N2 Flip. In contrast, Google recently released Android 14 Beta 3, which includes minor improvements to the Battery Saver functionality, new lock screen customizations, and a fix for the Google Camera app’s crash bug, among other things.
