As per the latest buzz, WhatsApp will finally include the Material You Design switches, a feature that a few apps still don’t have. But, not to worry, WhatsApp will soon be part of the Material You Design club, enhancing its look and feel. The latest Android beta version 2.23.10.6 has given us a sneak peek into the Material You Design switches for WhatsApp. Although not earth-shattering, these new switches bring a contemporary and trendy look to WhatsApp. Please note that this feature isn’t out yet even for beta testers, but it is expected in an upcoming update.

Here’s what you can expect: When the switch is deactivated, it will display a light-gray indicator and border. When the switch is activated, the border vanishes and the switch fills with WhatsApp’s iconic green shade, with the switch itself turning dark gray. This might change if you’re using light mode. Right now, no one can access this new switch on WhatsApp, but it’s scheduled to arrive in an update soon.
