Beta testers who want to install WhatsApp on smartwatches have to install the latest version of WABetaInfo Android 18.104.22.168. After linking your app with your WhatsApp account, a prompt will appear which will give you 8 digit code. The user will have to enter that code on the device.
Users will be safely synced across devices after entering the code, allowing them to use WhatsApp on a smartwatch. The end-to-end encryption will still be maintained as it relies on multi-devices capabilities.
As mentioned above, this feature is only available to beta testers for now. The whatsApp business app doesn’t support this feature, as per the report.
