- Leaked features: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 5,000mAh battery, fast charging + wireless charging.
- Screen types: Flat (standard), curved (Pro version).
- Rumored improvements: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, WLG High Lens sensor.
Renowned Weibo tipster, Digital Chat Station, recently shared some speculative features of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi 14 Pro. If the leaks are to be believed, the device could be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor and boast a robust 5,000mAh battery.
Regarding charging, the leak suggests the new Xiaomi phone might support fast charging speeds of 90W and 120W. What’s more, a potential 50W wireless charging functionality might be included in the phone as well.

It’s also been hinted that Xiaomi’s new 14 series might come in two different screen types: conventional flat and stylish curved. It’s still up in the air, but there’s talk that Xiaomi might equip the standard 14 models with a flat-screen, while the Pro version could benefit from a curved display. This distinction might extend to the phone’s charging speeds as well.
The rumor about the Xiaomi 14 Pro launching with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset hints that Xiaomi plans to keep embedding the newest, high-end chips in its top-tier phones. The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is said to provide a speed bump, with clock speeds around 3.7GHz. Notably, the chip is supposedly transitioning to a 1+5+2 core architecture, straying from the current 1+4+3 configuration seen in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
If true, this would likely enhance the speed and efficiency of Android phones. 91Mobiles also predicts that users might discover a WLG High Lens sensor in the phone’s rear camera setup.

Earlier in February, the Xiaomi 13 Pro was launched, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a 4,820mAh battery. If the 14 Pro does come with the leaked specifications, it would offer users a significant performance boost and a slight increase in battery capacity. It’s also worth noting that the 13 Pro supported 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
While it’s best to take these leaks with a pinch of salt, it seems that Xiaomi doesn’t plan on making significant changes to the charging features. However, we’re still some time away from the official unveiling of the Xiaomi 14 Pro, particularly considering the potential inclusion of the new Snapdragon processor.
